Incident Summary

On January 24, 2025, on the 2500 block of Philmont Avenue, officers responded to a report of two individuals asleep in a vehicle at a gas pump. Upon investigation, the driver, identified as Gavin Saxon, and the passenger, identified as Joseph Saxon, were found to be in possession of a firearm, drugs and drug paraphernalia. Both individuals were detained and searched, with Gavin found to have a revoked permit to carry firearms. Joseph did not have a permit on record.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The investigation is ongoing.
