On January 30th, 2025, around midnight, the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to the area of Locust Street and Locust Road for a noise complaint. Officers arrived on scene and located a Nissan Altima parked and playing loud music. An officer made contact and observed both occupants sleeping with open beer cans in the center console. Officers were able to wake Bavon Whitaker who admitted to consuming alcohol and having marijuana in the vehicle. A search warrant was completed for the vehicle, and additional marijuana was recovered from the vehicle.

Charges were filed and a summons was issued for Whitaker. On May 8th, 2025, Whitaker failed to appear for his preliminary hearing and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
