On April 9, 2025, at approximately 12:04pm, a male came running to the police station stating that a male later identified as Aden Schafer-Burger had just threatened to shoot him. The victim then stated that when Aden made the threat to shoot him, he reached into his waistband as if to reach for a firearm. Officers obtained camera footage from inside the business which showed the incident take place just as described and as such obtained an arrest warrant for Aden. On April 10, 2025, Slate Belt Regional Police Department took Aden into custody.
